Brett & I met in the fall of 2012 when I left for college. He actually hired me to work with him at Cabelas! The very first day I met him I knew he was trouble. At the time I couldn't quite figure out exactly what the trouble was...little did I know the trouble was that I was going to fall head over heels in love with him.
We had our first date at Chili's at 11 o'clock at night after working all day. He wooed me by eating an entire slice of my flatbread pizza in one single bite haha so charming! I had truly never laughed so hard in my life than I did that night. He dropped me off at my friends house & I told her that night I was in love with him!
Unfortunately, our story isn't as simple as we went on our first date, fell in love & the rest is history. It terrified me how quickly we fell for each other. I have never been the girl to believe in love at first sight, I never enjoyed sappy love movies, and I never believed in the "when you know, you know" feeling. I didn't think it was real! I thought it was just something created by hollywood that people followed along with & just said they experienced it. Boy, was I wrong!
Brett & I are the complete opposites in some ways but so like minded. We are the yin to each others yang, I'm the calm & he's the storm. We are constantly encouraging each other to be the best we can be, laughing and loving each other the whole way through.
We love going on adventures, playing with our 3 dogs, hunting, fishing, kayaking, camping, playing yahtzee, and spending time with our families!
Brett is my best friend in the entire world, I don't know what I would do without him & I don't ever want to find out.
